Batboard

My W4 Spectra was functioning fine this AM, when I got out of my truck my knee bumped the PTT, i heard the xmit tone and looked at the radio head, as soon as I looked the radio powered off and the XMIT and Busy lights continuously flashed, no beep or self check. I turned it off and on with the same results, i disconnected the power for a few min and had the same results.
What kind of failure is this?

It's repeatedly restarting prior to the Self Check

According to motorola the 1st posibility is that the radio is inhibited, However i thought that happens when the radio is turned on and tries to affiliate.
