Windows 10 and IE 11

I have Windows 10 on a 64 bit computer that came with Windows 8.1. Some web sites like MOL work better with IE than Edge. I have Internet Explorer 11. IE will always freeze after being used for a while. Is this common and is there a cure? Edge will not print a pdf invoice from MOL. IRS says to use IE on their site.
