I have a astro saber 3 and when I tighten the 2 screws on the bottom I lose the keypad function. Has anyone had this before ?? if I loosen the screws I get it back but the battery shakes a bit.

any help would be great.

Deopt the thing, before it's cut off from suport.

Yes, they labeled the f/c for the CHicago f/c........

Do your self a favor a go through a major dealer of LE radios.

These screws have a definite torque setting in the manual, and you'll have trouble if they're too loose or too tight, as you've found out. They don't have to be super-tight to do their job.

I replaced the front shield with another one and works fine in that radio and the one that was playing up works fine too. I can live with that.
