ADP AND AES

So I've recently discovered a problem. I have a few XTS5Ks and an APX7500 and 8K that I've been working on. All of the radios have been working for years with DES and AES encryption without issue. Now I've been tasked with managing a fleet of 6Ks that have ADP. So I get my KVL out and add the ADP key to the other radios without a problem. Now the old radios talk to each other with the ADP without a problem. The old radios can decrypt the 6Ks but here's where it gets strange. When the old radios talk to the new radios, the audio won't decrypt. In fact if I hit the mon button, you can hear the digital encryption.

So what am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Key ID and Key Data must match between radios.
Key ID cannot be duplicated.
Both sets of radios must have ADP hardware encryption, only exception being if the 6000s ONLY have ADP, it can either be software or hardware.

Actually, that's what worked. The 6000s have software adp and the xts and 8000 have hardware. I had all the numbers right as far as the CKRs go but when I added the adp in the kvl I was using the wrong KID. Just went back into the kvl, changed it and reloaded the 8000 it worked like a charm.

Thank you
