Motorola R2001A Reboot when switching functions

I have an R2001A/HS that everytime I switch from Monitor to Pwr Monitor mode or Generate Mode (or vice versa) the monitor reboots. It acts as if it's not detecting when the RF module switches, or it has a corrupted processor.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Problem was the over current pot on the LVPS was misadjusted.

Now another problem cropped up...the Deviation bar graph, wattmeter bar graph, and RF level display doesn't show any movement. The RF level pot does work, and changes the RF level from the A11 Module, just doesn't display it. The Level stays at 0mv, -28dbm.

Any thoughts or ideas?

No, that's not it.

The problem is in the A3 Scope/DVM Board. The switching signals from the processor aren't getting to the A3 board to switch the bargraphs off and on.

Do you have a spare A3 board?
