Hi,

I really like the Syntor x9000 radios. However, they do have the lower 250 Hz to 500 Hz muted it seems. My FT-857d has fuller audio, that someone listening on a Syntor x9000, can even here. I was wondering, if anyone knows of a sw or hw switch to allow more lows through the mic circuit?

Hammy radios also have poor/nonexistent modulation limiting so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks. Lots of heaving reading there. I was hoping someone knew of a simple fix.

Back in the days the Micor was top dog, I found that changing a 0.1 uf coupling cap in the mic audio path brought up the low frequencies by changing it to a 1.0 uf cap. Haven't looked at the Syntor X9000 mic audio path. No one ever complained about my audio using one. Most of the time they commented that it sounded good.
