Anyone have the manual and/or more info on this product besides what I've been told? I am trying to find the manual so I can research further as to what I can use it for/with.

It is a Motorola built for Universal Data Systems 208A/B Terminal Node Controller at 1200 baud.

The UDS208 A/B was a 2400 baud synchronous landline modem, not a TNC and not 1200 baud. If you want a 1200b async modem that uses the 1200/2200 tone pair that is used with legacy VHF packet networks you should be looking instead for a model 202S or T. It's still not a TNC!

Thank you for the correction. I was given that info from another radio tech. So what can I do with the UDS208 A/B? Got a manual laying around...?

No 208A/B manual in the library here for at least 20 years. In theory you could connect a 2400 baud remote device to its terminal over a 4-wire analog leased circuit, except that most phone companies no longer lease point-to-point conditioned copper pairs. But you might find a compatible modem in the Black Box catalog.

Alright thanks. I was looking to see if maybe there was something applicable I could use it for either in the ham bands or with my commercial gear.
