Has anyone been able to program or modify an 800 MHz XTS3000 to receive in the 770 MHz public safety band or transmit/receive in the 900 Mhz ham band? Are there hardware modifications necessary to expand the frequency range? Thanks.

can't be done, the RF board does not support the 700Mhz P/S band and it won't move up to the 900 Mhz band either.
