I have purchased a couple of Metrx pagers for a proof of concept electronic project that will be belt carried. It"s well suited to my project because of its physical dimensions, flat metal top, large power switch & readily accessible AA battery compartment that will hold a 3.7V lithium battery of the same dimensions.
It has been many trips around the sun since I opened a 1970"s era Motorola pager & I doubt I ever opened a tone only device. Someone please explain to me how to open the Metrx without doing serious damage to the prized case!
