15-pin Kit for Spectra?

Is there a kit for the rear connector on the Spectra that includes the housing, and pins... like what you can get for the Maxtrac?

If not, can someone help me with the part numbers for the pins and housing?

Thanks!

Either that or you can get a DB15 plus pins from a computer outlet place and make your own. Probably cheaper.

I don't have the book right in front of me to give the part numbers, but I am going to make my own for a couple of units I have.

I have used standard computer DB15s. You'll find that the hood is a bit thicker than the Motorola molded one, but all you have to do is spread the spring that retains the plug on the back of the Spectra.

Hi:

To save you the headaches and hassles of making
repairs to the radio:

I would recomend using the correct parts for the
Acc'y Jack.

Any DB15 Male plug will work, and the associated
low profile housing is a:

1580146F01 Acc'y / program Shell Housing ( Special )

That will keep the radio Stock, and a save you alot
of time if you should Break off the Support Sholders
for the Connector.

I have used a standard DB connector and have filed down the housing to match the dimension of the M connector.
Good luck
