Anyone have pinout, or better yet, a spec sheet?
I've tried General Instrument, now Motorola Broadband and no results.
Hope to use in a DTMF controller.

I suppose you already know that's an encoder, not a decoder.

Nope. I didn't. So much for that project. I'd still like to get the pinout, though.
The guy who sold a couple to me didn't know which they were.
Thanks.

Sorry -- Don't have a pinout. You could use a 8870 or SSI202 or something like that, plenty of those around.
8870 yes!

Having built more than a few DTMF decoders, I would heartily recommend the 8870 part. It's multi-sourced & works well. The AY-5 number is a VERY old General Instruments number, and I would advise against using it.
I found one in my junk box if you want it, email me with your address
& I'll mail it to you.
You'll need a 3.579545 MHz color burst crystal to make it go, and a couple
of resistors. You should be able to find the datasheet online.
Teltone has them in production if you're building more than one.
