Hi:

I have been requested by a local ham
group to build a Syntor X9000 Series
Program Cable. I have Both Sides of the
T Shell that mates with the Radio, and
alows the Control Cable to be Pluged into the T Shell

I also have the diagram...What I need to
know if " All" ( or Just the Program contacts ) locations need to be filled in?

OR

Does anyone out there have the " Original"
layout sheet that came with the Factory program Cable?

Any help appreciated.

Check out Mike's site http://www.open.org/~blenderm/syntorx/cablesx9.html it covers what pins are necessary. I believe this is the right page, you may have to look a little for it. Also if for some reason you happen to have a extra set of clam shells you would be willing to part with I would be interested.

The number of pins needed in the T connector depends on the cable you plug into the top of it. If you want your own bare minimum, count the number of pins in your Syntor X 9000 radio cable connector. With some radio cables you can get away with 2 large power pins and only 20 regular pins. Of course this ultra bare minimum programming cable will not support some optional control head configurations, Securenet external physical security housing or internal radio keyloading when the programming cable is installed. BTW, the factory cables use all 37 pins so they do not have any limitations based on the connector plugged in above the T connector.
