16 pin Maxtrac to 16 pin Maxtrac bi-directional repeat HELP

I am trying to connect two 16 pin Maxtracs via the 16 pin connectors to make a bi-directional crossband repeater. I know I can use a RICK but I should be able to by pass using one since I do not want a hang time or any other frills.
If anyone has a diagram or suggestions please advise.
Thanks!

Try Will, he has some 'rick-less' cables that will do what you want for cheap.

The diagram on the Batlabs site has some serious faults. You need some audio coupling and level adjustment.
Best bet, get one of Will's Modules, THEY WORK.

Extender Module
Will's repeater maker is the only way
