I've got the 52 series strobe lights in the grill. Held them in with black wire ties on my 2002 sierra. I'll try and snap a few pics tonight if the weather clears up here. Never tried the oscilasers. not a whole lot of room behind the grill and might be a little tough to mount them. I'm wanting to get another set of 52 strobes to mount at the bottom of the grill. These are towards the top.

In my 02 Sierra I used 2 old rectangular rubber halogen housings (39.95 pr from Galls looks like rubber fog lights) removed the halogen bulb and mounted strobe tubes in them. I installed a piece of thin flat stock to each diagonal support in front of the radiator and mounted the housings to them. It's a little tight, but it works fine.

I am going to mount them a little lower at some other time to allow them more adjustment in the outward viewing angle. (where I have mounted them places them near the top of the grille and it angles in there)

Hey Cranbiz

I got those same one too I think, is it the one where they gave you that FA Flasher module for it as a wigwag?

Dale,

Yes they were. I used them for several years that way and they worked pretty good. With my new truck I had bought extra strobe tubes and decided to experiment.

If you remove the halogen bulb and drill out the housing to 3/4" the hideaway tube fits perfectly and you now have a strobe light for way less than you can buy them for.
