Hi All,

I have a question about XTS3000 module DES-OFB DES-XL.

I have 3 XTS3000s two of them have the same flash. The 3rd has a different Flash. I am selling one of the XTSs.

What I want to know is can I take the secure module out of one XTS and put it in another with a different Flash. Will the keys still be there or will they be lost?

Neither radio is Flashed with Multi Key-Ecryption. Its one Key in the module. The RSS is set for infenent key retention on all the radios.

So will the module retain the key in the new XTS with a differnet Flash?

If infinate key retension is turned on in the software, it shouldn't be a problem.

If it's not - the second the board looses power, it'll have to be reloaded. To be safe - expect the need to reload.

Additionally, it does not matter what your flashcode is.
