Astro Saber III DPL problem

I have a Astro Saber III UHF radio. I have several non-astro (digital) conventional frequencies which have been programmed into the radio. The problem is I have two frequencies (both are programmed with DPL tones) which I cannot receive the signal unless I change the mode to "PL disable". I noticed in the RSS that there is a warning which states "setting this field to ASTRO and then setting it back to non-ASTRO or Mixed mode will cause the receive, transmit, and direct squelch types to be set to PL regardless of their current values". I cannot be certain but think this is probably what has happened.
Is there any way to "reset" the receive voice signal type so that I can receive only the frequency with matching DPL tone? Currently the setting is "non-astro" with the same DPL programmed for transmit and receive.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks Shaun for the information. I did some more experimenting and I am not sure it is an alignment issue.??

I have one analog conventional type scan list in particular which is set up with a combination of "direct" and "repeater" frequencies with a mixture of tone types (PL & DPL). It seems the radio will not RECEIVE transmissions from a repeater personality while in scan mode and programmed with DPL tones. If I turn off scan and monitor the same frequency I can transmit and receive and access the repeater! It just won't tune these two frequencies while in scan mode. I have no problem receiving/transmitting on repeated or direct channels with PL tones nor do I have a problem receiving frequencies in direct mode with DPL tones in scan mode. Also if I activate PL disable then I am able to receive these two frequencies in scan mode (along with everyone else sharing this frequency).

I don't know, maybe I need to send the radio to /\/\? :(

Not to long ago there was a similar topic about this. Apparently M doesn't like to talk DPL with certain make/models radio's. I believe most of the problems were in the higher numbered DPL's. Try a search..
