Batboard

I have an 800 Spectra, conventional and trunking, and when first turned on, the display alternates between the channel name and "no emerg". It won't go into scan either. As soon as I hit the transmit button, the message goes away and the radio works properly. Anyone know the problem and how to fix it?

In the 15 pin connector on the back of the radio jumper pin 2 (emer) to pin 8 (ground). That will shut off the error.

I had the same problem with one of my radios. When that circuit is opened with a remote switch it triggers the emergency signal.
