NEW LiIon Batteries for XTS-WOW!!!!

I'm completely blown away---the new LiIon Slimline battery on the XTS3000 reminds me of comparing the old HT-220 Slimline to the standard HT-220. The only small downside is that the old battery clip does not fit the new LiIon. A small price to pay...
To simulate the effect of this new ultra-slim battery, feel your XTS radio with no battery attached. The radio's thickness with the new slimline LiIon attached is only slightly marginally thicker than this! Also, it doesn't have the dumbass 3 ridges on the back (that cover the internal cells) that the old NTN8299 Boat anchor battery has---the battery’s back is entirely smooth and flat, and it feels way better in your hand. It stands up just fine on a table top as Motorola designed a nice sturdy base. Comparing the thickness of the rail thin XTS (with the new LiIon slimline battery attached) to the ASS-tro Saber is like comparing Celesta Flockhart to a REALLY EXTRA FAT Sumo Wrestler. And, don’t forget that anyone shorter than about 6 ft 8 inches tall can plan on the bottom of the ASS-tro Saber hitting the ground when it’s on their belt.
Remember all those arguments on the Batboard about XTS vs/ ASS-tro Saber?! A lot of folks commented how the acceptable fatness of the ASS-tro Saber somewhat offset the fact that the AS was over 25 stories high, not unlike the 1976 MX-360 radio. Guess what---the XTS3000 is WAY SLIMMER than the A-Saber, if you use the new LiIon battery, and it's WAY shorter! All around miniature compared to the A-Saber Boat anchor. The capacity of the LiIon is at least as good as the old NiMHd NTN8299.
Next month, Motorola is releasing 2 ALL NEW additional LiIon batteries for the XTS. One is a Smart Slimline LiIon (2000 maH), and the other is a standard sized Super Ultra Capacity LiIon, with 4000 maH capacity (same size as the old standard NTN8299). Both batteries will use smart IMPRESS chargers. Digital display of the battery’s capacity, charge time, health and status, serial number, and the list goes on...
Now, who was touting Kenwood P25 radios? Still IMPRESSed by the Parks Dept Racals? I don’t think so…
