Well?

Has anyone done this WITHOUT springing for
the JT control board? I'm not asking
anyone to fess up to having Lab RSS, but
if one did, would it be successful? It's a
given that the front cover assy. will need
changed, but that's no problem. My cost
for a control board is $210, would rather
save the company some $$$

Thanks
Tony

Hi Nand, I can say with certainty that
we have not met, as I have never visited
Toronto and my last name really isn't
Soprano, however my first name really is
Tony. That's just my lame-ass Batlabs
handle. Ever watch The Sopranos on HBO?
Great show.

Anyway, thanks for replying, I "have heard"
of someone who used Lab to blow in a JT
codeplug with JT features and model number,
but the display and keypad were dead. Perhaps
there is some display support circuitry
in the JT controller that the HT controller
does not have. Perhaps I'll just order the
JT controller.

Hi Tony, love the name, Sapranos is one of the best shows on tv! As for the JT/HT deal, I have also tried it a few times and it never worked, I beleie the controlers are a bit different. I did hear of a guy who did it by putting an MTX-B7 controller in the ht and loading it as a JT. But if you are gonna do that, just go all out and make yourself an MT-2000.
