Looking for a reputable shop in the SoCal area

Post by ScannerDan »

Hi all,

I bought one of Nicks Uhf ASTRO Saber radios awhile back and I use it on the job as a mutual aid radio. I would like to have it looked at and realigned if needed. Does anyone know of a good shop in the Sothern Cal area that knows how to work on the Astro Saber ?

Thanks

Dan..

Make sure whoever works on it has a DIGITAL P-25 Service monitor, you must have that to properly set the radio.

The only added benefit of using a P-25 monitor wound be to encode or deciode digital transmissions to verify proper radio operation.
