question for all, hope u can help

i have my xts3000 programmed on truck and conv feqs. i have the trunked transmit locked out with the spacer under the chan knob. But for some reason it still transmits on trucked systems when it's locked out.

any reason why ? thanks bob

Check your affiliation and wide area coverage.

You want affiliation to be set to "None."

You want wide area coverage to be set to "None" (even if the system you are monitoring is WAMS or SmartZone). If set otherwise, the radio will try to transmit to the system it thinks it is monitoring.

you have to name both side's to do something. on the switch.
