Programming ???

Hello again.I have been programming conventional radios for a long time,but am new to programming my XTS300's trunking features.Now I am sure that to explain how to program a trunking system into the radio will require a book and not a short reply,but I just wanted to know how to get started.Is the information from trunkedradio.net enough to make the radio monitor a system,or is this info enough for just a scanner.I understand the system key generation part of it,I just don't understand where to put the control channels and which freqs. are tx and\or rx. Thanks,and any help would be much appreciated....
