There's really no "best." There are, however bad ones:
Gall's
Pro-Copper
---------
The Consolidator (havis-shields), Gamber-Johnson, Jotto-Desk are some of the best on the market.

I would say the top brands
Gamber-Johnson
Troy Products
Stewart Products
Havis-Shields
Jotto-Desk
All generall similar - some have interesting designs that the others don't
I ultimately choose to go with Gamber-Johnson since their build and shipping time is a few days, they stock their consoles instead of build to order most of the time and their are very easy to work with on returns or custom stuff.
Troy does make super high quality consoles, but their build and delivery time is several weeks.

I just purchased a Havis Shield angeled console and I love it. it is veryb easy to customize and alter later down the road as needs may change. It was cheaper than the Gamber Johnson or Jotto desk series too. Only draw back was it came with bags of nuts and bolts with one page of instructions on how to mount the vehicle hump bracket. Nothing like you can't figure out though.

my experience with Havis Shields and the angled consoles was a lot higher cost since you had to order more parts to accomplish the same thing as Gamber - Johnson. This was true for at least my truck. Also the AS series consoles is fixed you can't adjust it like the gamber johnson stuff.

I've ordered several different Troy consoles, and have never had to wait. Most were on my doorstep in about 5 days, the rest about 7-8 and that is from CA to VA.
Their consoles make for a very neat, custom looking install.
