HELP with Whelen Beta Siren PA feature

Ok, here's the project. Full install on a 2003 4-Runner. (Pics to follow of an awesome job!)
HELP!!
We are using a Whelen Beta remote siren using our own switches, not the control head. No matter what I try, I cant get the PA to work. Need help -What is the correct way to hook this up? I have tried touching both positive and negative to the PTT wires with no luck. Does the siren need to be in some special mode? Wiring help PLEASE! Email me [email protected]
