How can you get a Spectra 800 to do Smart Zone ?
Do you need a part to add on or can you load a codeplug from a Spectra with SmartZone feature using lab ?

You need an "E" model spectra.

Any idea where i might find an E model Spectra 800 ?
I guess its not as simple as changing the e-prom (MLM) ?
Since our local Police are switching to Smart Zone,All (12) of my Spectra 800s will still work,but would be great to find a cheap way to make them do Smart Zone.

There is a smart zone board(I'm not exactly sure what it's called and a flashport upgrade to change to smartzone

You can upgrade the Spectra for Smartzone. The Flashportupgrade only pertains to the AStro Sabers. The upgrade will consist of replacing the MLM board etc... about $1200 from Rockford.
