I see the pinout on Batlabs, now here's the question:
Can I make a programming cable from a regular saber speaker mic?
I've got a box with a few of 'em laying around, and I'm not wanting to spend $90+ on ebay for one.

Should be able too. I spent very little money on a plain SABER cable, moved pin 6 to 8 (or was it 8 to 6?) and it magically became an Astro Saber cable.

Or you could just use a home made 'dongle' to swith the pins and have both a Saber AND an Astro Saber cable...

Or put a switch on it and have a dual purpose. That worked well for me.

Just made one up from a Saber speakermic, and it checks out on the VOM....just have to wait for the radio.
I only will have an AS, so no need for a dongle.
