I have the new windows RSS on my laptop but it will not read a radio. It shows comm failure. I have DOS RSS 8.5 on the same computer and it works fine? Thank you in advance for any help anyone can offer.

Just check to see if you're running on the right comm port.
If that's not it, you may have a problem with your serial port drivers in Windows. Reinstall them.

I reloaded my comm port driver and it is working great now!!!.
