Quantar Station Control Board detailed info...

For those of you that don't know, the capabilities of a Quantar repeater station are pretty much dependent upon two things - the model # of your Station Control Board (SCM) and the firmware that's flashed into it.
from the tri-state fonebook sized quantar manual, here are the (then) current part numbers of Quantar station SCM's:

here's the current breakdown as i can tell so far: (coments are in [xxx] FRU = Field Replaceable Unit... no quantar modules are field repairable...)
cln6873 YOGI EPIC STATION CONTROL BD
replaced with: CLN1273A astrotac epic
[must be the astrotac shelf SCM)
[I guess the "codename" of the Astrotac is "yogi"... ha ha ha]
cln6960 INTELLIREPEATER EPIC SCB II
replaced with: CLN1294A Intellipeater EPIC II Intellipeater
[last post on this noted that Intellipeater machines will NOT do conventional....but they can act as standalone trunking controllers]
CLN6961 CONV/6809 EPIC SCB II
replaced with: CLN1293A FRU EPIC II CTRL MOD-CONV/TRK
[this is the most flexible SCM - capable of running as a 6809 trunking station - under the control of a trunking/zone controller... or conventional]
cln6686 EPIC SNTL MOD DATA
replaced with: CLN1177B FRU: EPIC SNTL MOD DATA
[obviously a Quantar DBS (data base station) controller]

[this is an analog board - unknown if it's upgradeable or not]
