XTS batteries

Hi all...
I'm in the market for a new battery for my XTS3000...the one I have now just doesn't last.
Anyway, I'm looking at the high-capacity NiMH from Aloha. I've been told a few different things regarding chargers. Right now, I have the slow (overnight) charger for the NiCd. I've been told that I can use the same charger, and I've also been told I have to get an Intellicharger.
Which is the case?
