MTR2000 - Audio Bridge Controller?

Post by STicKman »

What audio bridge controller w/ DTMF control would work with the MTR2000 interfaced to a MSF5000 UHF link? The actual bridge between the two would be controlled by a DTMF capable portable/mobile.

Looked at JPS, but very expensive. Link TCB-1, but no additional radio ports. Any ideas?

There are several companies that sell affordable controllers that will meet your needs. These companies market primarily to the amateur radio marketplace but support commercial applications as well.

The CAT250 would be an example of a very affordable controller that supports linking.

The S-com controllers are quite respected. See: http://www.scomcontrollers.com/ds7kbx.html

In addition to the TCB-1, Link has a full line of controllers. The RLC-3 is perhaps the most sophistacated repeater & linking controller available. It is modular so you can add additional radios to the system as needs change.
