You can't post a picture from a local folder on your computer. It must be hosted on a server somewhere. If you want to host pics go to hpphoto.com you can sign up for free and they will host quite a bit of data.

No, those links DON'T work... not the way he intended... notice the big fat IMG tag on his post?

Yes, I know that if you copy and paste the links in the browser you can see a big blurry radio.

haha... well, I try.

I'd bet it's some kind of data radio.

What else do you know about it?

Okay, I did some research:

Let's start with what you gave us:

FLENSBURG ECKENERSTR.28 TYPE:PRM6662DM REV: A
NO: F911M 103855

1. FLENSBURG ECKENERSTR.28:

I only get one hit on google for this:
http://www.technoir.nu/hplx/hplx-l/9710/msg00309.html

Looks like the address for Motorola's German Division:

Motorola Electronic GmbH
Eckenerstr. 28
D-24939 Flensburg

Reception : +49 (0)461 803 0
Direct : +49 (0)461 803 456
Fax : +49 (0)461 803 210

Okay, so we know for sure it's a Motorola radio.

Next:

2. TYPE:PRM6662DM REV: A

This phrase didn't bring back anything, and chopping it up didn't either.
I tried "PRM6662" in google and got some hits, for a radio called "Storno PRM6662"

Looks like it's a 70cm (440mhz) commercial radio.... there looks to be a mod for it to do amateur 70cm...

http://home.t-online.de/home/dl6int-1/6662/

This page mentions the radio, but doesn't seem to be much info on it:
http://www.agurk.dk/bjarke/amateur.htm

Finally:

3. NO: F911M 103855

Doesn't return anything specific to the radio. "F911M" brings back hits for a library book, and 103855 brings back a lot of pages for all sorts of items.

So it looks like a 70cm radio. No way it'll do 2m, not without some serious modifications, which I doubt is even possible.

If you want to sell it if you're unable to use it, let me know. Otherwise, good luck with it! :)

It is a radio of the Storno (later: Motorola) CQM6000 family. The PRM-prefix indicates, that it is a system radio/mobile telephone for the Nordic Mobile Telephone net NMT450, which was very similar to the old german "C-Net" (analogue mobile phone). It works in the 450Mhz-range.
The one you have is the black box/remote mount version which needs either a remote controlhead or a handset with keypad and display.

Nice radios.

Thank you guys, you all are the best.
So..it is 70cm things needs either a remote controlhead or a handset with keypad and display to make it works (which I dont have).Forgot to tell, it does come with a 25 pin connector that branching to 9 pin and one connector that I dont know what type it is....and antenna connector with RG58 coax without the antenna.
Interesting, look like I have to go back to that junk shop again to find the missing parts. Again, Thank You. I'll be back.
