Hi all,
I have just acquired an MT-2000 with top display. I saw the discussion on putting more than 48 channels in the radio - interesting

Anyway - I also have a few questions of my own:

1. The model number of the radio is: H01KDD9AA4AN - can anyone tell me what we have here - capabilities etc - especially - shouldn't it be able to scan?

2. I have RSS M2100 R02.10.00, and it will program all 48 channels on the radio, but I can not get it to scan - period. Is this RSS wrong for the above model - or are there any special setups I should be aware of?
I have programmed a couple of Astro Spectra's before and scan worked fine, so there must be something I'm missing.

Thanks in advance for your help on these things. I'm eager to get my new "toy" to work, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

HI Peter,

Well first of all, is that RSS made for the MT2000, cause when you start it up it should says MTSX or someting like that if I remember, and if it is. Are you able to read the codeplug? If you could, then it should be the right one, and if am wrong people, correct me okay? lol, but anways. the scanning should be in there if am correct, when your in the main menu, press F4 and you will see a list, and it should say scan on one of them, also, you have to assign one of the button on the radio so you can turn on and off the scan too.
