I've read where mts accessories will fit xts radios. So will a mts public safety mic work on a xts radio without the special rf adaptor thats required for the xts mic?
Thanks

No.

The XTS does NOT have the RF contacts on the side connector like are found on Jedi series radios.

A standards mic WITHOUT an antenna will work on an XTS, but the antenna on a PS mic will do nothing.

Also, I believe there is a pin on a Jedi PS mic that pushes in the RF transfer switch on a Jedi radio. That pin will interfere with connecting the mic to an XTS, I think. There
is no transfer switch on an XTS connector.

Totally correct. The XTS accessory connector doesn't have a push-button contact like the Jedi series do so the PSSM for the Jedi will not even connect to the XTS accessory connector. The PSSM for the XTS requires the RF adaptor which screws into the radio's antenna connect and creates an area where the XTS PSSM would mate with. The XTS PSSM has an extention above the external audio/mic port that has a spring loaded connector to mate with the RF adaptor.
