Hi:

Since there is a growing amount of Two-Way
perosns on the board, I am looking to compile a list of Perosns ( Business ) that have had problems in being Jammed Out via a
Trimble ( or Similar ) Survay Device.

So, if you have a UHF Repeater ( Anywhere )
in the US, and you have experience this buzz,
click, whitsle every 5-10 Seconds and between
the hours of 6:00am-6:00pm ( working hours )
I would like to hear from you....

Perhaps if I get a list big enough, I might
be able to do something about it.

Hi there: Yes In Canada we have had this
Trouble with the gps/Uhf trimble
set-up.A company set-up a 25 watt digipeater
for gps, and did it give us grief.This is a packet device proto call.The complete
package cost $174.000 (yes thousands)
but it was not good for the rest of the community. We had to get there freq.
changed to solve the problem. This is done at their exspense. Raymond

Do they always use the input side of a pair of channels?

I'm not the user of this channel but a company I work with and monitor is a licensed user. The signal I hear besides voice traffic is a short burst of carrier which may have a click to it.

The reason I think this is on the output side is that there is no hangtime after the carrier and it only lasts <1 second. Normal voice transmissions have a 3 second hangtime. The user uses PL so I doubt they even notice it.

Just curious.

Crap guys, I tried to reply to this thread, but it ended up in another thread at the top of the list. I have had quite a bit of luck with a doppler direction finder. Usually the data is Trimble or MOSCAD data. Lots of fun. FatBoy.

What is it? Why does it cause problems? I've never heard of it before.
