Saber Help

Post by Redtop47 »

Can anyone help me with this? I been trying to program my saber VHF and I keep getting an ERR 0 81 on the display. I did something wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

HI:

So long as you have a factory Rib Box, a 386-486-25
computer running DOS, you should have no problems.

If you are trying to program your radio with a Clone
Rib, Pentium Computer, and poor cable, you can risk
corrupted a radio.

Re-Saber Help

Thanks for all the tips. I used another version software and it work. The Err Message went away. The Computers I'm using are 286/486 When I open the software from the computer that's when the radio got corrupt.
I open the software from the floppy disk and it work. The Model # Of Thise radios are H43QXJ7139CN Secure. I'm using the original Motorola Rib And The Famous Monty Saber programming cable.

Thanks
Dan
