Hi everybody,I got MT 2000 Vhf witch looks like brand new.Well it si not working like brand new.When powers up shows FAIL 001 witch means bad synthesizer or bad frequency data.But when I leave radio for couple minutes I can hear RX signal and could TX.But I could not hit ham repeator when I have put right data in to radio.

TUNE IT. Fail 001 means that the radio cannot lock onto the selected frequency (usually, could be worse). I wouldn't be transmitting with it or else you might cause serious damage to the RF section.
