Motorola XTS3000 Question

Im looking into buying a Motorola XTS3000 800Mhz Model 1 or 2 on Ebay or at a HAMFEST and i was wondering if anyone could advise me of any buyer bewares, what to avoid and what to look for when buying one of these radios from Ebay or a HAMFEST. Thanks.

Well...first at the top of the page is a stickie marked Newbie /Astro Info guide. Go thru that and also when you are looking don't be afraid to ask on here about either a seller or if you run into a technical issue you are unsure of. There are some people with a great deal of knowledge and contacts ...but let common sense prevail...remember if its sounds to good...its probably too good to be true...( but not always)
