				Fuse Tap

I use the fuse in the Fuse Panel. I believe its the Radio fuse. Don't use the cheap fuse taps, get a good tap. The ones we use replace the fuse then have 2 fuses in them with a wire for the ignition sense.

The first thing you want to do is figure out what kind of amperage you are going to be drawing for your ignition source that will tell you what kind of fuse you are going to need. Second using either a multimeter or a continuity tester check to see if you have voltage from the fuse block in the car. Remember to use a fuse equal to or greater then what your going to be using for your accesorie. Do this while having the car off when you find a a fuse that has no voltage an meets the fuse requirments turn the key to ignition position. If you get voltage on your meter or the bulb lights up on the tester. wala you found your source. Like mentioned before use a good fuse tap. I perfer the ones from pepboys. they have room for the original fuse that was in the slot originally an the accesorie you are adding. then it has a wire lead that comes off it with a butt connector on it. Any question feel free to ask.
PS anyone see what federal signal gives you to use to tap into the ingition for the smart siren These litttle metal things. Biggest joke i have ever scene.
