XTX 3k UHF Model 1 CPS issue

Post by CTAMontrose »

got a model 1 UHF (Range R) that the new CPS complains about me putting in 440 ham freqs. (Says that the frequency is out of range for this model) but works flawlessly even at GRMS.

what gives? i was under the impression that R band was 438 - 482, shouldnt be complaining with ANY freqs ive put in it.

What version CPS did you end up using?
I tried 1.3 and 1.4 and it said "code plug too new"
I programmed another XTS to the 412.000 freq (digital)
Worked fine

Thanks

Actually the "R" band radio in XTS3000 is 403-470.
