I may have a source for a 1955 base station that is in mint condition I just cannot find anywhere any literature on it the model number is fstr2-140br. It is a motorola and was operational when taken out of service in 1985. operated in the 36 to 39 mhz band. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

140 BR indicates that it is a 100 watt station. Probably used 3B28 gas-filled rectifier tubes to give about 700 volts for the PA. If it has 5R4 rectfiers it was only a 60 watt Tx. Receiver and exciter used 200 volts for B+. Most of the tubes used were 6AK5, 6BH6, 12AT7, 6AQ5(audio output) 6CB6. Might have used a 2E26 for driver
