ASII Questions!

Hey Guys,
I finally got my Astro Saber II programmed up. Thanks heaps to everyone at batlabs for collating this great resource!
Some questions
1) As far as I can tell (and I'm very new to the RSS) I've turned off everything to do with encryption keys. When I turn my radio on, I get the message KEY FAIL. I don't want to use encryption of any type. How do I stop this message from comming up?
2) My bandsplit ends at 470.0000MHz. I'd really like to be able to RX and TX (very low power is fine!) at around 477.0000MHz (Australian UHF CB). I've done the RSS bandsplit hack, but the recieve is pretty much deaf and the the radio bombs out with "FAIL 001" when I hit PTT.
Can I use the RSS SERVICE mode to make my AS2 happier at this end of the band? If so, what should/can I do without damaging the radio? I have no use for the lower part of the band so I don't mind sacraficing performance down there.
Can I replace the RF board in my AS2 for the right band? What sort of price would I have to pay and could I do this myself?
Thanks in advance,
'Oxide
