Q52/FPP option in the XTS5k

I am trying to figure out the right flash code for the FPP option. I have reviewed the old posts and the information is contradicting.
The questions:
The Q52 FPP option appears in the Flash as the second digit from the right (excluding the checksum) or the second digit from the left ?
Is the Flash code hex value equal to 1 ? (As it would be if it were in slot "B1 Future System Enhancement")
Does the radio have to have this option turned on at the factory, so it can be flashed later ?
OR
Does any VHF 5k with Host R07.13.00 and DSP N08.02.00 or greater capable of this option ?
Thank you for your time and effort, Doug.

The flashcode is second digit from left and FPP is a "2".
The host/dsp you are referring to is for the 3k, not 5k. Current host/dsp for 5k is 4.51. Ours are 4.0 firmware and are FPP compatible.
I do not know if it a field upgradeable option since ours arrived that way. I understand only certain agencies can get FPP. Check with your local Motorola sales representative.
Last, it is NOT compatible with trunking. Ours are VHF.

FPP is not in the new Q4 2004 Motorola price book for the XTS 5000, so I assume it would have to be at least an SP, if available at all. I also checked the FLASHport price book sheets. Same deal---no FPP.
I remember that Cowthief had commented on a similar feature on some sort of "specialized" ASTRO Spectras, so I wonder if these so-called FPP XTS radios are of a similar ilk?

I can assure you they DO exist. We use them.
It is a specialized feature for a particular agency.

520001-000000-8 flash is what I have come up with for Q806, H14, Q52, and H35. For a Conventional VHF with IMBE.
Doug.
RNJ, email me if you would please.

PM sent.
And the GE/Star signalling has been replaced by Q52 for the 5Ks.
