"I have been inquiring about this very topic both with our local dealer and direct with Motorola over the the past several months and both sources recently confirmed the "IV" statement. These sources indicate that the IV will be a clean-up of the III. I am being told that it will "formally" be announced at a radio communications conference in Las Vegas in late April. You should be able to start placing orders for them shortly there after. Although I don't like being a guinea pig, we are about out of pagers and I cannot find any other product that comes close to the features of the III, so we'll be taking the Minitor plunge sometime soon."
That conference they are talking about in Vegas at the end of April is the week long IWCE 2002, a week long radio conference/tradeshow with all kinds of radio vendors, including Motorola. What the heck... Im gonna go
