Post by pmoore40 »

Does anyone have detailed information on the portable base for the XTS radios? Anyone ever used the P2061? links? pics? Any info at all would help.

What was your opinion? I assume it is basically the same as the Saber Transportable base which I have. What did Motorola quote you for the unit?

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the Saber SVA from a Saber portable base and replace it with an XTV adapter? I was wondering if XTVA would fit the bracket in the Saber portable base. It does not look like the wiring would be difficult.

The unit was fine. We didn't get any but we did get to test it.

It makes for a nice field command post,
