My Radio is H33QXK7139CN have 5D Cord & 5C Cope (I read from the RSS R07).
Regarding the model breakdown the freq. range is 136-174mhz.
However, while I creat a new code plug and chose the right model no. same as above it show me only 146-174. besides I could not program the frequency below 145Mhz.
Does anyone teach me I use a wrong RSS or some setting I missing or I need to use the RSS to tunning the Radio ?

Hi!

First, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't beleive that there is a Saber III submersible, since it's tough to make the case waterproof with that many keys on it. (Someone correct me if I'm mistaken). Sounds like someone may have taken a Saber I submersible chasis, put a Saber II/III controller on it, and stuffed it into a Saber III case. I wouldn't try to take it swimming.

The VHF Saber comes in two sub-bands under the same model number. The low split is 136-151MHz, and the high split is 146-174MHz. Both splits use different internal RF modules, so you can't change the range just by loading a different codeplug. You have to change the hardware and realign the radio. I believe you can load a codeplug for the other range, but it won't work.

You can probably hack the codeplug to get it down into the 144MHz range, but if you go very far out of the rated range, the VCO may not lock, and performance starts to suffer. How much you can get away with varies from radio to radio on an individual basis.

Perhaps Bat will be gracious enough to someday add the information on module identification to the Saber page, since this seems to keep coming up.

First of all, many thanks all of your reply and value information.
I have already program below 145Mhz into my Radio (can Tx/Rx start from 144Mhz).
I write the all 144Mhz which use Hex mode into the Codplug File.
It is working fine.
