OK, I am stumped.
I have a couple of 99 channel controllers and frames.
I tried a UHF and a VHF RF board and they do not work properly.
I then tried them with the loband and everything workd just fine.
Whats the deal?????????????????????????????

I don't have the RSS in front of me, but I believe there's a spot in there to change the bandsplit of the controller board. I know it exists in the HT600 RSS, so I'm assuming it's the same story for the MT1000. Did you already try that? I haven't seen any low-band MT1000's around here, so it's also possible it's a different board all together.

I did change the band split when I changed the controllers. i am very familiar with the process for doing thid mod when it comes to the VHF and UHF. I have done many of them in the past. I have never had this happen before. I have tried every combination of controllers, frames, rf boards, cases, knobs, antennas, batteries, soldering irons, time of day, differant sitting positions, color of my shirt, lights on, lights off, left handed, right handed, before and after a shower, ect.
I can't figure out why the controllers won't work with the loband boards.
Yes , all the radios work in their original state.
It is only when I put the loband together as 99 channel , they will not work.
The only thing I could think of is Motorola has two differant controllers. One for UHF and VHF Hi and one for VHF Loband .
