I want to purchase one of those in the next week. So what is it? I'm not going to search old posts. I want fresh opinions. Colors I would get or RED/RED or RED/WHITE. Will be dash mount behind windshield near r/v mirror.
Whelen Talon
Sound Off, Inc. Predator II (with alleged Gen. IV Led's)
Tomar T-LED
?????????

Talon. Assuming, of course, you can mount it in the location you want.

You'd think by now people would have come to figure out that most of the LEDs out now are fairly similar, and the big difference is size, mounting ability, and flash patterns.
Yeesh.

				1. Whelen
2. Sound-Off
3. Tomar
The Talon has best off-axis light, but the plastic case gets warm and the mounting bracket and flash hood are both kinda hokey.
The Sound-Off is almost as good off-axis as the Talon, but the mounting bracket is more agile.
Both lights provide ample on-axis light. I have Talons, and a friend has the latest Sound-Off products and we both have not had problems with getting traffic to move. I personally like the Sound-Off flash patterns better than the Talon.
The Tomar is okay on-axis, but it sucks off-axis. It would make an all right secondary light, but not primary in my opinion.
