Value question on 900MHZ MTS 2000 FLASHPORT

Post by phantomspook »

Curious on the value of a MTS 2000 III flashport 900 MHz? (full keypad version)

Anyone know how much they're worth street value each?

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

I paid 200 for mine on screwbay back in 2002, it is a late model (466AYSxxxx) with H37 flash, in mint shape. Paid 100 bucks for a similar vintage model I from batboard member Jay earlier this summer.
If yours is clean and factory (no hacks, missing labels, etc) of late I might be interested in it. But the average real world price is around 100-225 depending on condition, age, etc.

Yes, I know there is some retard selling one on screwbay for 575, but he is on crack and has had the same radio listed for almost two months with no bids. (this same turdface asks astronomical prices for old analog radios but hey, there's one born every minute)

your market for 900 is limited to hams and existing systems which are fewer and fewer thanks to Nextel.

a friend of mine is selling his system, it sounds like he scored a 800mhz freq. the way he's talking and giving away his 900mhz and 400mhz equip. i wanted to get a feel of pricing before I gave him a commitment, he already offloaded 8 mtx900s on me for $100.

thanks for the tip.
