Modding MTS2000 RSS for Windows

Post by KE4NYVJR »

I just bought a MTS2000 and I have a slight problem. The codeplug is
too new to read with DOS MTSX, so I have to read it with the "newer"
MTS2000 Windows software. I can read and modify fine within the set
ranges. But the one million dollar question is...has anyone
sucessfully modded Windows MTS2000 RSS for out of band?

Thanks,

No problem, see:

You will probably have a later CPS, the idea is the same but the limits will be in different locations.

DOS RSS 6.07 will work. I use both CPS 1.10, and DOS MTSX 6.07 on the same radios all of the time.

Thanks for the tips guys, the 6.07 worked, it was just a matter of getting it and modding the .mdf Now all is well. But I want to go and try out the MTS2000 windows version now. I had been tipped that the limit were in the .exe as documented. Now, I just need to go in and do it for 900 MHz.

Thanks,
