Ignition sense source for 2001 Yukon

Does anyone know of an ignition sense source that could be used from the fuse box in the engine compartment of a 2001 Yukon XL? I know there are a couple in the fuse box located under the dash but the power cable and ignition sense wire are already wired into the engine compartment. I'd like to avoid pulling the wire back inside the passenger compartment since the install was done neatly - except for the ignition sense being no connected correctly.
I've installed a CDM 1550 into the exiting center console using a remote head. The remote head fits nicely into the area just above the cup holders.
Thanks in advance.

In the Vehicle you can remove the under dash bezel under steering wheel and then you can see behind the fuse box a small white; yellow ;brown and orange , and I think pink ., pink and white are ignition wires that have power during crank and orange is the heater wire or blower, brown has power with the key in accessory and in run position, GM really doesnt recommend "tapping" into fuse box because a lot of the vehicle components have a power down or "sleep" mode to reduce power draw when vehicle is off. Rumor has it that tapping into fuses may keep these modules "awake" and cause excess power draw and battery drain if vehicle sits for long period of time as in 3 days or more. The local Cell phone place does this a have had alot of customers complain to the dealers of dead batteries; once the taps were removed the current draw, dissappeared. so I would recommend hooking up to ignition switch or battery point under hood for constant power use. sorry for the long lesson I prefer you were informed correctly.

Thanks for all the replies. I ended up leaving the main power in the engine compartment and tapping the ignition sense back inside the vehicle.

Actually I went to the fuse box. Since it is only the ignition sense and not actual power I'm not too concerned with the above posting about letting it sit for days and having the battery go dead. I'll just keep that in mind if I have any extended downtime.

				fuse box under the hood?
I found a fuse i could use too... but i could not find a fuse tap for the smaller size plastic fuses.. no one had them so i went to the local car stereo shop and asked where i could find a source they showed me under the column so thats where i went...voila!
good going.. we both have success..!!
